when I worked in the warehouse department in the coolers if there were smashed packs of chicken that were on the floor or out of date no matter how bad, we were told to put the chicken in a blue drum that stayed in there until it was full. then we had to tame it outside using a forklift then we had to add a blue liquid like jelly to it and stur it up it was disgusting. they hid it from usda everytime they were inspecting. I was told they sold it to companies that later made it into dog food. This was at fieldale farms in Baldwin ga.

what with the rotten chickens thrown into a corner of the cutting room I took a tour of Tysons chicken plant when I was in high school after that I could not eat chicken for many months afterwards
